Un rendez-vous de doula, c’est extrêmement difficile à résumer ! Selon la doula, les besoins des parents, si c’est un rdv pré ou postnatal… tout change.

Une seule constante : le rendez-vous se fait à votre rythme, en fonction de vos besoins du moment. J’écoute vos émotions, je réponds à vos questions, je vous offre un espace où déposer et des réponses adaptées à votre vie. 🍃

On parle allaitement, accouchement, sexualité, accueil du bébé, … sans plan prédéfini, c’est vous qui menez la danse ! Et si vous ne savez pas par quoi commencer, je vous aide en vous proposant des sujets. 💬

🐤 Parfois, en postnatal, c’est votre bébé qui mène le rendez-vous : s’iel est calme et que vous avez besoin de parler, on en profite. Ou au contraire, j’en profite pour faire un coup de ménage, préparer un repas… Si vous avez besoin de repos, je prends soin d’ellui pendant que vous vous allongez.

On peut aussi ajouter à un rendez-vous de doula : un cours de portage, un atelier massage bébé, un massage pour vous, de l’aide administrative….

Et pour un rendez-vous en visio ? Pas d’aide matérielle mais je peux vous donner des contacts dans votre zone géographique, des ressources associatives, des astuces d’organisation… et mon écoute reste la même ! 💻👂

What happens during a doula appointment

It’s not easy to sum up what can happen during an appointement with your doula ! Depending on the doula, what the parents need, if it’s a prenatal or postnatal appointement…. everything can be different !

One thing does remain : each appointment follows your rythme, your needs of the moment. I listen to your emotions, I answer to your questions, I offer you a safe place to share your history and answers adapted to your life .🍃

We can talk about breast/bottlefeeding, birth, sexuality, welcoming your baby…. without any predefined plan, you’re the one to decide ! And if you don’t know where to start, I can help you by proposing several topics. 💬

🐤 Sometimes, during a postnatal appointement, your baby would decide what happens. If they’re calm, we can take the opportunity to have a chat. Or on the contrary, I’ll take the opportunity to do a bit of housechores, to cook a meal… And if you need some rest, I can take care of them while you lie down a bit.

We can also add to a doula appointment : a baby carrying class, a baby massage class, a massage for you, some help with admin work….

And what if the appointement takes place over zoom ? Then I can’t do housechores, but I can give you contacts in your area and organisation tips… and I’m still here to listen to you 💞
